Course Description

Owners of digital single lens reflex (D-SLR) cameras will explore advanced aspects of photography. You will develop your photographer's eye by learning to see photographically. You will learn how to maximize your your creativity while understanding the technicalities of your camera gear. We will cover the visual, intellectual, and intuitive elements which go into making a photograph while examining the modern technology that is our D-SLR. Student participation in the form of photo assignments and class critiques is encouraged.

IMPORTANT: This course is aimed at the INTERMEDIATE photography students and students new to digital SLR photography. If you intend using a point-and-shoot camera, this course is not for you! However, if you want to explore the possibilities of D-SLR photography, or are considering the move to D-SLR photography, then by all means, sign up!
